Betterfly compliments Ladybug and Cat Noir's world, saying how they're partner and help each other as it is normal and how in his, helping other people is considered a crime. Betterfly goes on that ordinary civilians are unaware of the existence of the Miraculouses as they are a secret. Quietly, creating a pair of handcuffs as a Lucky Charm, she sneaks up behind Claw Noir, taking him by surprise and handcuffs him as he falls to the ground. Unfortunately for him, Shadybug takes off his Miraculous just before he finishes activating his power. Rendering him powerless, Shadybug discovers to her shock that the secret identity Claw Noir is none other than Adrien Agreste.

When detransforming back into Marinette, she noticed alternate Adrien smiling and blushing at her and asked him if he knew her, to which he only awkwardly shrugged. And when looking at him, she softened her tone to main Sabine, before retransforming, releasing him and throwing his Miraculous back at him, and she rebuffed his attempt to comfort her after she realized no wish could save them from their affliction. Claw Noir and Cat Noir begin to fight as Claw Noir cataclysms Cat Noir's earpiece, cutting off his connection with Ladybug. According to her, the effects were gradual, though Marinette attempting to summon Gimmi ended up accelerating the process, resulting in the affliction spreading to her face, though according to Shadybug the use of their Miraculous superpowers "will slowly destroy them".
After reforming, Claw Noir (now Paw Noir) joined Betterfly's team to defeat the Supreme and free their universe. It's known that the Supreme took advantage of Adrien's sadness over losing his mother to recruit him to his side by entrusting him the Cat Miraculous to get back the Butterfly Miraculous which was stolen by Betterfly (unknown to Adrien, that he was actually his father). Unlike Gabriel in his universe, Monarch is the villainous counterpart of Betterfly in the Quantic Universe, Like Claw Noir, he also wanted to bring Emilie back by using the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses to summon Gimmi. After Claw Noir reformed and decided to become a superhero, he agreed with Betterfly when he reassured Ladybug she will suceed in defeating Monarch. However, Adrien was soon surprised to see Shadybug detransfoming into Marinette, and blushed and smiled at her, revealing to have a crush on her, as in their world, he often had his car stopping in front of her bakery to see her.
After instructing Alya not to let her parents enter her room, Marinette transforms into Ladybug and decides to join in on the fight. Similar to Monarch, while fighting his heroic counterpart, he wanted to get his and Ladybug's Miraculouses to summon Gimmi and use the wish to bring back his mother. But when Cat Noir mentioned feeling the same, he still didn't believe him until he took Cat Noir's ring and saw his counterpart's true face shocking him even more when he realized that the latter's mother suffered the same fate. Cat Noir was able to convince Claw Noir that he too could change his life if he chose not to be alone, honor his mother's memory and give friendship a chance.
